Feb 15-18, 2019 - Yuma

Yuma is a small city in Arizona on the Mexican border.  There are many trailer parks here where people stay for the winter.  Jayden's grand-parents stay here every winter.
This is Brian and Darlene - Jayden's Grand-parents.  It was so nice that they let us stay at their home for 4 days.

In Yuma, it was Sunny and obviously much warmer then Canada.  We went shopping, in service, to the meeting, swam in the hot tub, and sat around the fire.

Jayden's cousin, Tanner, and his wife, Hannah, were also visiting at the same time.  It was nice to get to know them better.
We also met many others from Canada at the meeting.  But today we start driving back to Canada.  I want to get back to my own bed, but I don't want to be in the cold.

Feb 15, 2019 - San Diego

My friend from Grenada, Ruby, moved to San Diego in California because she was having a baby.  She named her baby Damian - he was born in December.  We went to their place in San Diego today to visit them.
He is so cute:

We went shopping with baby Damian. :)

After shopping we went to the beach for supper.  Unfortunately, it there was a cold wind.

We ate at Ruby's Diner, which was funny, because my friends name is Ruby. :)

Feb 5-14, 2019 - Hermosillo

We spent another week and a half staying at my brother's house in Hermosillo.
I went in service with mom and Jayden. But I wasn't able to do any calls because it was all Spanish.

Jayden and Tyler went to the assembly.  It was all Spanish, so I didn't go.

My brother was sick for part of the week, so we watched lots of movies together.

On our last night, we went to the top of a hill in the middle of the city to see all the lights.

Feb 3, 2019 - Mazatlan

We made a short stop for one night in Mazatlán on our way back from Puerto Vallarta.  It was about a 6 hour drive. We got there just in time to have supper while the sun set.

My Dad and Brother got sick when we left Puerto Vallarta, so we didn't get to do anything in Mazatlán.  The next day we wanted to drive to Hermosillo, but because Tyler was sick, we had to stop in Culiacan to see the doctor and stayed a night there.

Jan 27 - Feb 3, 2019 - Puerto Vallarta

Last week we visited Puerto Vallarta.  My grand parents and Auntie Amy met us there also.

We did some site-seeing around the town and shopping along the Puerto Vallarta Malecon.

I also tried a new experience where fish cleaned my feet. It tickled and felt funny, but my feet were sure smooth after.

The resort we stayed at had lots of nice pools.  There was even a lazy river, which is a like a slow moving river that keeps going around in a circle.  I could just lay on the tube and go around and around. :)

They had a neat laser/water show each night at one area of the resort.  They used a mist of water in the middle of a pond as a screen and then projected a musical show on it while there was also other water and light dancing to the music.  That was really neat to watch.

On another evening we went to a Mexican FIESTA at the resort. It had a buffet of all different types of Mexican food, and different Mexican entertainment.  They also had some games on stage with a few volunteers from the audience. My mom and Jayden played one of the games and Jayden won!

There was also guy making balloon hats.  He was fast and very creative.

Of course, we also went to the beach one day.

Jan 25-27, 2019 - Culiacan

Here I am, in Culiacan in 2019.
It took us 8 hours to drive here from my brothers house in Hermosillo. Culiacan is a bit more humid then Hermosillo was.  We stayed with our friends Ruben and Lolo.
But, would you believe, I was here 11 years ago when I was 2 years old.

I don't remember that, but my parents showed me these pictures of friends we met who made me a beautiful dress.
When we met those same friends again last week, they still remembered my name.  It is kind of funny to have friends that I never met.
