Camping in Jasper

We had a great time camping in Jasper this month.  We saw animals such as Elk, Deer, and Squirrels.  We hiked and rode bicycles.  We sat around the campfire and we even watched a movie on the big screen.  Let me show you our fun in these videos.

Mount Edith Cavell:
On the first day of our trip, we hiked up Mount Edith Cavell where there is a large glacier.  A glacier is a large chunk of ice on the top of the mountain.  Along the way, my friends taught me how to build an Inukshuk.

Glacier Skywalk:
On day two, we drove to the new Skywalk in Jasper National Park.  It was a glass floor that is 300 M (900 ft) high above the valley.  It was a little scary, but also fun.  I was pretty scared that day.

Patricia Lake:
On the third day we visited a beautiful lake called Patricia lake.  The water was clear, but cool.  We saw some elk bathing in the lake.

Maligne Canyon:
On the forth day we hiked along Maligne Canyon.  This is a deep narrow canyon that a creek carved into the mountain.  It is amazing how the water erodes the rocks away to create a beautiful canyon like this.  There were many waterfalls along the way and a thick carpet of moss on the ground.
